Document the nature and conclusion of your insolvency proceedings.
Step by step: This is how you proceed
- Check the public bankruptcy file at the official judicial address.
- Obtain KSV and CRIF self-disclosures separately.
- Compare stored procedures, statuses and times with your records.
- Discuss complex legal questions with authorized advice.
What documents do you need?
Court order, evidence of plan fulfillment, KSV/CRIF information. Only send sensitive documents via a secure, official channel and only when actually necessary.
When should I act?
The timing and deadlines depend on the actual procedure and Section 256 IO.
This limit is important
Disappearing from the public bankruptcy file does not automatically delete private records.

What can I do myself for free?
The statutory information and other rights of those affected can generally be exercised without DATA CHECK. The Austrian data protection authority offers samples that can be used free of charge. Private technical form preparation is only a voluntary additional service, not a prerequisite for exercising your rights.
According to the recommendation of the Austrian data protection authority, you should first request information and, if necessary, only then separately request correction or deletion. In principle, a request for information must be responded to within one month; a legally permissible extension is possible.
Frequent question
Can I get credit again immediately after bankruptcy ends?
Granting a loan remains the responsibility of the bank. However, you can have incorrect data checked and examine public and private storage separately.
