What can I do myself for free?

According to the recommendation of the Austrian data protection authority, you should first request information and, if necessary, only then separately request correction or deletion. In principle, a request for information must be responded to within one month; a legally permissible extension is possible.
Frequent question
Does applicant data have to be deleted immediately after a rejection?
Not across the board; the permissible duration depends on the purpose, legal basis and possible claims.
